For the month of May, we’re featuring Kenya! Kenyan coffees are well known for having bold and fruit-forward flavors. With tasting notes of tamarind, orange, and hazelnut, these beans pack a juicy punch with a spicy and clean finish. We recommend trying it as a cold brew for a flavorful iced beverage just in time for summer!
This coffee is a washed process, meaning once the ripened red cherries are harvested, they undergo a washed processing at the Estate, and are pulped, fermented, and soaked in clean water. The beans are then laid out to dry on drying tables in the sun until they reach the correct moisture level for storage.
The farm our coffee is sourced from, Tatu Coffee Estates, pays extra attention to water conservation without hindering coffee quality by recirculating their water in economical yet hygienic ways. We’re proud to support farms that work to minimize their environmental impact while still producing delicious coffee.
